Program
Morning to be devoted to a visit to the Marmore Falls, the highest in Europe. With its 165-meter drop, it generates an impressive spectacle that can amaze visitors from all over the world. Six wonderful nature trails bring hikers close to the rapids, face to face with the three jumps of the waterfall, immersed in the roar of the waters. Time at leisure for an independent visit of the park, walking among canals, small bridges and paths lined with numerous plant species, which make this natural environment unique. At the end, transfer to Narni for a guided tour of Narni Sotterranea, the visit is an intense and evocative experience inside underground places discovered under the former Convent of San Domenico. The one-and-a-half-hour tour will start from the church of Santa Maria della Rupe, passing through the remains of a Roman domus with cistern, to arrive at the Room of Torments of the Holy Inquisition and the small cell with graffiti. It will be a crescendo of emotions until arrival at the former Church of San Domenico, now Auditorium Bortolotti. At the end accommodation in the hotel, dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, transfer to Piediluco and meet with the bicycle tour guide near a small lake beach. Aboard an ecological boat, you will reach the opposite shore and begin a loop itinerary to discover the lake, its sounds and colors. The tour lasts about 3 hours, with small breaks to admire the view and take photos. At the end, free time to stroll around the village of Piediluco or to enjoy some excellent lake fish, including the famous carbonaretti, royal perch cooked over an open flame until the outer surface is charred.
