Program
After checking into the hotel, proceed to the town of Ferentillo. Meet with the guide and start the urban trek in the small medieval village, nestled in the greenery of the Valnerina in Terni, situated along a gorge dominated by two fortresses and crossed by the Nera River, dividing it into two nuclei. Visit the Mummies Museum, housing some mummified bodies discovered in 1805, an ancient oil mill dating back to the 18th century, and a modern oil mill established in the early 1900s, still active today for producing excellent extra virgin olive oil from organic olives. At the end of the visit, enjoy a small tasting of oil and products from the farm ‘La Drupa,’ also known for using an important ingredient: the ‘melangola,’ a citrus fruit typical of southern Umbria and particularly the Valnerina Ternana area, characterized by a strong and bitter flavor that enhances cheeses, oil, and many other local typical products. Upon request, there is the option for lunch at the farmhouse to savor a menu with authentic flavors of the region. In the afternoon, visit the Cascata delle Marmore for independent exploration along the scenic paths of the park, allowing you to admire the highest waterfall in Europe up close and in all its splendor. Guided tours are available upon request. At the end, return to the hotel. Enjoy a typical dinner either in the hotel or at the Osteria dello Sportello.
After breakfast, you will reach the farm ‘La Collina Incantata.’ Meet with the cycle-tour guide and start the e-bike journey to discover the typical Umbrian landscape, with gentle hills and green vineyards. During the tour, you will visit a winery and the cellar, with a small tasting of local wines paired with typical flavors. At the end, enjoy lunch on the farm featuring local and km 0 products. Upon request, there is the opportunity to participate in workshops for the production of bread, homemade pasta, cheeses, and jams, according to the season.

In the morning, arrival in the Amelia area, and transfer to a truffle field to kick off a comprehensive activity focused on truffles. In the initial phase, there will be a brief introduction to one of the most prized products in Umbrian gastronomy and its production chain. Following that, the truffle hunt begins—an entertaining and engaging activity in contact with nature. Expert truffle hunters and skilled dogs will accompany you on a pleasant walk in search of the precious and flavorful tuber. At the end, the fruits of the hunt will be the protagonists of an interactive cooking class, during which you will get hands-on experience with this simple yet valuable ingredient, receiving instructions and suggestions to enhance its taste and aroma, allowing you to create dishes that satisfy even the most discerning palates. Tasting lunch at the estate with truffle-based products. In the afternoon, transfer to the Terni area for hotel accommodation. Dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast, transfer to Piediluco to discover the small and characteristic fishing village overlooking the eponymous lake. Stroll along the lakeside and arrive at the embarkation point for the ecological boat, for a relaxing tour to explore the history, flora, and local fauna. At the end of the tour, which lasts about 40 minutes, enjoy a lunch based on lake fish (carbonaretti depends on the season).
